millipedes

I have found a few creatures about an inch to an inch and a half that look like miniture millipedes can someone tell me what these are plese.

sounds like bristleworms, they are beneficial animals, they are also nocturnal, so you will see them mostly at night. The only ones you need to worry about are the bright red ones!

and try not to touch them....the bristles itch like a mofo

No they are not bright red just kind brownish looking
