I'll be in Monterey in a couple of days and I wanted to visit some local fish store.
What is the best place to visit?

You will find beter advice in the greater San Francisco Bay Area Forum
I believe there are some stores around Gilroy, Morgan Hill area but Neptune Aquatics is a short drive.
As you realize, this forum is not frecuented that much.

Unfortunately marioensf is right. I might be late but Larry at Ultimate Aquariums in Monterey is the one place to go. Good prices and he has a variety of corals and fish.
