monti cap like i've never seen?

today at exotic i picked up a frag of monti cap like i've never seen before they had it in the frag tanks that is off the to the side....

really strange cap it looked like kind of a blue'ish/gray and the polyps are neon green its really trippy looking. anyone have any other info on this? i've scoured google.... ha it was super impulse cause i've never seen it before i know i should be punished....ha! i'll post some pics tommorow

its definitely not a leng sy i have a piece of leng sy and thats more green with a purple rim on it.....this is totally different

Interesting what did you charge you for it?

they charged 25bux for about 1.5-2" square frag..... i'll post some pics up in a bit of it....

i know this aint the best pic best i can do with bad kodak easy shot and you can kind of see the lil spots of the polyps that look greenish overall once its acclimated looks almost grayish with a hint of purply kind of color with green polyps really strange anyone seen this before

see thats the strange thing im not sure its washed out bad camera prob doesnt help either but yeah we will find out

I've got some too. It is light bluish purple with bright blue polyps for me.

No, it's very neat and so far keeping the same color.

yeah even under 10k XM 250w metal halides, its still the bluish/purple/grayish color with greenish polyps (prob look green to me cause of 10k bulbs)

i was thinking the same thing bout idaho grape..but i have a frag of idaho grape, but if you can notice the polyps arent purple like they are on idaho grape.....i have a bad cam maybe tcoral can pitch in if she has a nice camera..

No, it isn't idaho grape, it's a different purple with bright blue polyps

Hmmm most of the frags I saw there yesterday looked pretty bleached out thats why I said that
