Monti munching nudis :/

So I have found some monti eating nudi's in my tank. Sad because I have a lot of nice monti's I am now on a third round of dipping all of them into Coral RX coral dip, which is supposed to kill them. I'm not sure if it kills the eggs though.

My questions are:

Do these creatures lay eggs elsewhere, like in a micromusa or another coral?

Is there an in tank solution as well to try and double attack them?

Thanks,

How are you doing killing the nudis

How are you doing killing the nudis

I have got them to. How is the coral rx working.
I have some on order. Best of luck!!

I heard certain wrasses ate them. My brother hada similar problem where he had a infestation in a tank with quite a bit of montis. He dipped them in Interceptor and clipped away at the monti that was dead. He's been monti eating nudi free since.

Coral RX definitely kills the nudis. I went from a lot to only a little but now I'm constantly looking for them and if I see them I do a full dip again.

I haven't given much thought to clipping the dead part away but I will give that a shot. What is interceptor?

I assume this will be a long process, to kill as the eggs hatch, etc.

Almost all of them are frags. I have some large pieces but they aren't on the main rock yet.

Do they lay the eggs on the underside?

Use Revive, it's quite safe and it'll remove all the nudi's.

Except for the eggs, you'll have to look around the monti.
The nudis don't wander too far to lay those eggs.
