monti's polyps turning white

i bought a darth mal monti. the color of the actual "crust is fine but the polyps or white.
what should i do, lower it down/??

Several problems with your initial post that may be the reason you are not getting answers. First, this is the LPS, so SPS questions are not the primary subject matter. Second, I've never heard of a Darth Mal monti. What is the more common name of it? Third, you did not post light/flow/calcium/alkalinity/SG/temp...parameters so it is difficult to say whether that lowering it will help. Lastly, a picture always helps. It is a pain to post pics, but worth it. HTH
