Hey y'all

What do you use for a moon light?


I'm looking for something very small, and VERY dim. Almost like a single blue LED that provides a tad bit of light. Hate having to use a bright flashlight on my tank just to see something.

Any ideas?

I use nothing at all. If I want to take a look after lights out, I have a red LED flashlight that does a fine job.

Red LED light is the way to go. Do you have a camping headlamp you could use? That's what I do. Works like a charm. The fish don't notice it at all. I do have to say that my brittle star seems to respond to the red LED light, though, and retreats when I'm out. I have no idea how/why it seems to know while the fish don't.
