More than one blue head wrasse?

Thalassoma bifasciatum.... My first thought is bad idea, I know the Thalassoma family can be pretty mean. A friend of mine has one and wants to know if he can get a second one.

I wouldn't do two males, but you should be able to mix subadults/females with a male.

They live in harems in the wild, although I would expect maintaining a harem in captivity might be difficult. I seem to remember someone trying a long time ago, but I can't remember who it was or if they had success.

Even for a small Thalassoma species, mine was a PITA and had to be removed. Your friend is lucky with one
