Mounting bits missing?

Hi all,

Quick question, I have noticed that I dont have the small plastic stick and sucker which I have noticed in my 6000 stream manuals. Are these things supposed to ship as default with the pumps or is this an optional component?

I dont believe it.....Im getting the sinking feeling I need to buy some kind of accessory to install these in my glass tank. I was on backorder for 3 months for the streams, multicontroller and now it looks as though I will be on backorder for another 3 months whilst I wait for some accessory.

Please tell me this isnt the case and I can install and use these now.

If your tank has plastic trim like US tanks you need the optional kit 3000.244. If your tank is glass only like most European tanks you don't need that part.

Its glass but has bracing on the inside for support

Are there no places without bracing? Sometimes the corners are left open. There really is no back log on the kit required for bracing so it should not be a long wait. If it is common in Australia for aquaria to have such braces I would be quite sure one of the dealers there would have kit 3000.26 for euro bracing.

No Roger there isnt any points on the tank without bracing I had to search high and low to find a dealer in Australia and then they had to specially order the streams from Germany.

I think I have another long wait ahead of me :hmm2:

I think you can make something work for the meantime. check under other coutries at www.tunze.com and contact one of the authorized dealers, I would imagine they stock this part.
