I currently have a 90 gallon with fish, coral and lots of LR.
Here's a recent picture to give you an idea what I have.
When I move into my new home, I intend to set my tank up with the current LR and fish ONLY. I'll be selling all my coral back to the LFS.
I have a questions:
1) I would like to eliminate the MH lighting system. Can I simply reduce my lighting to a lower watt flourescent? I asl because the MH system generates alot of algae for grazing fish.
2) Since I'll no longer will have coral, is water chemistry just as critical? Do I have to maintain calcium and alk like before?
