Moving up 10g > 35g

now that our 10g is stable and all parameters and livestock are happy, healthy, and multiplying... I think we are moving up to a 35g.
How severe is the risk of crash if I have roughly 25g of new water and add the 10g of my old water with my established rock and possibly sand?

I'm not sure what the best method is to move everything to the new tank tbh...

I also just got that redsea 50w light which I think is not enough for the 35g but it comes with a viparspectra so that's cool but I liked my tank mount redsea...

As long as your water parameters (pH, Alk, Temp, etc) are the same between the two tanks, you shouldn't have any issues.

I'm not a good person to ask about the lighting as I'm still using MH.

As for the light, I don’t have experience with the RedSea but I’d imagine adding a second 50w should be sufficient or sell it and upgrade it to something more

The viparspectra lights they have are clearly doing a great job. the corals in their tanks look amazing but they're a bit clunky in use (settings) compared to the ease of the bluetooth on the redsea. that's the thing that's holding me back the most is the lighting...

I agree with you on the sand, thanks for pointing that out! (y)
