Moving,what to do with algae?

I'm in florida now and will be moving to missouri, how do i transport my macro algae????

How long will it be in transit? How are you moving your other living stuff? Can you put it in a lidded 5 gallon bucket that is half full of water?

I will be moving my other live stuff. I know how to transport it but what about light? It will need light so what do i do?

It will survive for a few days in darkness. What kind of algae is this?

when i moves it lived in a dark bucket for 4 days , when i put it back in the tank It was a little pale, but bounced right back.
