MR-1 or EV-120

I'm trying to decide which skimmer to get for my 75 gallon. Either the MR-1 from Reef Exotics or the AquaC EV-120. Right now i'm leaning toward the EV-120.

What do you guys think is better?

Personally I've had great success with the Spray Injection of the AquaC skimmers. The EV120 should be excellent for a 75. I usually overdrive them by a couple hundred gph to get a little more wet skimmate.

I would go with the MRC skimmer. I had an MR1 and it was great. I have never owned an EV120, so I can't say anything bad about it. Beckett skimmers are just the most powerful skimmers you can buy.

You could also try a needlewheel. The ASM skimmers are great. Friend of mine has a G3 on a 75 and it pulls some serious skimmate.

I had an mr-1 I loved. I've also had a euroreef that I loved. I don't really know anything about the aqua-c's but people who have them seem to like them. Seems like beckett, needlewheel or aqua-c are all decent choices.
