MTC skimmer club!

Couldn't find anything comparable online. Maybe ask Jeff if he'd sell you just the enclosed Beckett assembly. BTW, the best way to reach him is to send an email with your phone number and he'll call u back.

Ok, So I'm looking at ordering a pump for my MVX-36. Debating between the jebao DCT 12,000 and the DCT 15,000. They're both about the same price from what I can see. Which do you guys think?

Edit:

After looking a little more it looks like you can get the 15,000 in the newer DCP model as well.

I own a MVX 34", and I run the Jebao DCT 12,000. I have it set between 8 & 9.
Plenty of power for me. Produces around 4-6 cups of waste daily.

Between 8 and 9. Does it go go 10? So if I got the 15,000 could maybe run it around 5 or 6?

Yes goes up to 10. Something else to think about 12,000 uses 100 watts, 15,000 uses 150 watts. Either pump will do the job... its kinda up to you....

Think I may try the 15,000. I can always turn it down if it's to much. Would rather have the option to crank it up if I want.

Sounds like a good choice....Would be interested on how it does for you...
Please keep us updated......

Do you already have the beckett valves? If you can get this model, will be very easy.

You can buy those at HD or Lowe's it's used to repair pvc pipe. It's an adjustable coupling. Drill and tap the hole in the side for the air valve. You'll need a couple of O-rings to hold the beckett together.

I don't get anywhere near the stacking of the bubbles as you do with my dual venturi. More like the random air cannon shot every few seconds. I'm going to have to break out the air meters and see if I can figure out what's going on.

I assume it does not include the beckett, right?

Hmm, so now the jebao dcp 18,000 is available for only $20 more than the 15,000. Any thought on if the 18,000 would be to much even turned way down? Would hate to buy it and not be able to use it at all.

I'll be able to let you know next week sometime. I have the dcp 18000 on order. I have no plans on turning it way down.

Did you order from amazon, ebay, or fish street? All the same price, just curious. I'm a big amazon junkie so was looking to order from there.
