Mushrooms shrinking

I did a iodine dip on a rock which had several zoo polyps and about 4-5 mushrooms , its been 2 days since i did this and the mushrooms have shrunk from about 3 inches to about 3/4 of an inch .. and the zoos are all closed .. could this be because of the iodine? will they continue living and get back to normal size?

Sounds like it probably is a result of the dip. Most shrooms are pretty hardy, it's not hard to imagine they'll come back eventually.

one of mine pouts even when a fish swims by it for like an hour.
the other 3 could care less.

What strength iodine did you dip? What type of water (salt/fresh [tap/RO]) what temp & PH?

i use lugols dip with water that i boil .. and let sit for 24 hours ..

i actually checked my shrooms today ... and they are bigger then they were originally so im very please to see that .

not exactly sure what type there are .. i think 2 of them are a type of ricordia .. not like the fl or yumas.. they arent as nice .. and one of em reminds me a watermellon
