I just thought that I would show my 2 clams both are 10" long so a good size and doing well.

Looking good. Overhead shots will show up the clam colours much better.

doesn't look like they are getting enough light, hence, their mantles "reaching" upwards.

The light should be ok I use 3x250M/H the mantel go up because of the 2 Tunze streams, they get some nice current, not to strong but there is always and upward movement when it hits the back off the tank, I will put and over head shot tonight so you can see the colours, the purple one looks great under actinics,
I have had this 2 for 5 months now and the only one that seems to have grown is the purple one about 10% in size, I cant really tell with the brown one but I will take out tomorrow and meassure with a caliper for refrence and do so every 6 months.
