Haha the clam is fine it's it worked it's way into a crevice between the rock and it's mantle is slightly folded over the rock. The clam is doing great so far. Yes I think I may have place a couple of the frags a bit to close, but like you said once it grows out a bit more it will fill in those gaps. Thanks for the compliments.

With sps it is really a good idea to have 2 points of light. Hard corals cannot bend and strech to get the light they need like a softie can. With one point of light like that they will all grow twards it and the underneath of the corals and the sides that dont get any light will go colorless.

Your tank looks great, the only reason i mention it is because i ran into this problem with the same light fixture on a even shorter tank. As time goes by and the corals grow out you will notice it.

In that last pic you posted is a perfect example of only a small portion of the coral getting the light it needs, see all the shadowing?

I am not trying to diss your tank or your knowledge at all, i did the same thing and was very unhappy with how it turned out, the corals suffered bigtime.
I never even considered 2 points of light to combat the shadows. I wish i could add more halides for even more points of light.

Just a thought.

I don't mind at all I appreciate your help and advice. You make a very good point! Like you said it's hard to provide lighting for all sides with the 150 but hopefully I can move the corals into the 75 I'm working on withing a couple of months. I just bought many of these pieces within the last three weeks so I can't see much growth yet. I will post up more pics in a month or so showing the different growth patterns.
