Next reply is the tank today with all close upsThe anemone got too big for the tank and was taken back to the shop it got huge and killed a couple of corals, sad to see it go though.

I like your marble sea star what's that purple stuff under the clam ?!?! Plate coral of some sort ?! ... it looks really cool!

yeah the sea star was an early addition it is dtill there and doing well although i dont know what it eats I read some where sponges??
The purple stuff is knobbly mushrooms again hitchhikers the smaller of my frenatus likes to rest there

actually I am pretty sure the marble star eats detritus and other micro organisms... that's why I want one, easy to keep. I have a red spiny sea star which feeds on the same stuff plus algae.

What kind of light do you have on it???? IT looks great

I have a 10 k 150 watt metal halide and four times 36 watt pcs Two 10 k + blue, two actinics.
294 watts total

The pic was taken when the 10 k mh was off but it doesnt make much differance.
Its amazing but the 10k mh is fairly dim it just must have the correct spectrum.
And MH really gives that dappled effect well.

Every thig has really taken off in the last month now it has settled down
