My Aiptaisia Farm- Berghia Breeding Thread

I gave up after a while. The biggest issue is getting small baby aips to feed the baby Berghia. I broke the tanks Down. But the other day when I was looking in one last tank i was saving rock in I found a big adult just cruising around. So lots of work and egg coils and I had two confirmed babies lol

There must be a secret to the aips and that's what the breeders keep a secret. The adults can eat them faster than you'd think. Good luck to those that try.

I had the same issue. Lots of eggs and no babies. I had plenty of aiptasia gametes with no luck. I picked up a bristle tail file fish and tested him in QT for eating my zoos. He left them alone so I placed him in my 330g DT. He has cleaned my tank of aiptasia so I now have no need for the berghia.

I tried a file fish. He ate the aiptasia and then started eating tenticles off my candy cane and other LPS corals. I returned him to the store. I plan to breed some berghia next month.

The problem is not producing eggs, it is rearing them.
