my carpet is a monster

My electric green carpet has officially dug its foot into the sand completely which I know is a good sign :) . It's eating like a beast a few silversides a week and the mouth is no longer gaping like when I first had it. The 30 gallon tank it's in will become a dedicated anemone/clown tank for it, the 40 breeder I'm getting will become the new show tank, and the refugium/sea grass bed will move into the sump. All plumbed into one system :)

these are the older pictures when it was gaping but ill take new shots soon..

it has more folds in it now.

Mike,
You do know that potential size for that Anemone is better than 24" across, right?

whats the size on long tenticle anemones larry?

figure you have more experiance with anemones then i do.

have three in a 15 gallon with 4 baby pink skunks right now. once the skunks pair up giving a pair to brad.

thx

sorry don't mean to still the thread.

any help getting the anemones to settle in would be greatly appreciated. can't get the big anemone to attach its foot just yet.

heres a pic. anyone have experiance with this type. been doing some research but not to much on them to be honest. i am running 3 55 watt pc's over the tank. have a decent amount of flow on the tank to.

I'm no expert but I don't think the white one should be white. Should have alot more color to it whatever it's supposed to be. I don't think 3x55 watt PC will give them adequate lighting either.

Larry, I know, which is why I'm dedicating the entire 30 gallon to just the anemone and when it reaches 12" it's getting split in half anyway.

The 40 breeder is my new main tank, both will be plumbed to the same sump for a lot of water volume as well, though that has nothing to do with the carpet's size ofcourse.
