My First Clam

Got this maxima two days ago and already attached itself to the rock. This is my first clam ever, thought like to share with you all.

Cool clam. I'm thinking of finally picking up one also. I need something different than another SPS for a change.

Very nice. The fact that it attached to the rock so quicly and readily indicates the clam likes where you placed it. As long as the water parameters are good and you got decent lighting it will be fine.

PS can you take a pic from top view? The colours look way better that way.

Very nice indeed. I really like the gold/whitish streaks. Looks way better then the average clam. Unique pattern.

What lighting is the tank under?

2x175w Coralife 10000K at front, 4x55w 03 blue PC in the middle and 96w 10000 daylight PC at back.
