Alright, been really busy with school and work lately so I've been putting this off for a while. Got some work done on it today. Here are some pics.

All that's left to do is put some wood around the thing for looks and paint it. I should have some tanks set up on it soon enough!

I'm shooting for about a total of 300-500 gallons. Depends on if I get a tank I've had my eyes on for a couple months. It's gonna be very nice :D

nice wood carpentry.

Glad you started the post and I will definately be checking back to see how things go.

give us an update on possible ideas for lighting, filtration, corals, etc...

Come on were reef geeks we need to know the goods!

hell, give us crayon drawings!

Haha, sorry guys for all the blankness. I'm a full time college student and work ~40 hours a week so I've been busy lately. I plan on doing a lot of ricordea, zoanthids, misc. mushrooms, large polyp stonies, and eventually small polyp stonies. Oh, I will also be growing Chaeto and Red Grape Kelp macroalgaes

For the tanks I have currently for this setup I have:
2-33 gallon long tanks
1-65 gallon long/wide-ish tank
1-20 gallon long
1-55 gallon

I will be getting more tanks but for right now, this is all I got. I'm only 20 years old and in college so I'm poor LOL

For lighting I have:
1-Icecap 660 (I will most likely be putting two 4' bulbs over each of the 33 gallon tanks
2-250w metal halides 20,000k
1-130W compact fluorescent fixture for the 20L
1-175W metal halide 20,000k which I might use on the 20L instead of the compact fluorescent

For filtration, I have a 40 or 50 gallon acrylic sump which I will probably be putting live rock in as well as a Euro-Reef Skimmer.

I can't really think of anything else to write right now, but I gotta write a paper that's due tomorrow! Hope that answered your questions!

same here 20yrs old college work full time...cant afford anything tho..gotta crappy job

some day tho some day

How about making one giant U shaped tank out of acrylic. Thats what I pictured when I first saw your stand. I know its not realistic but that would be sweet!
