about two weeks ago I put a new light on my tank I went from 400 watts of Power compacts to 436 watts two 150mh and 4 t-5 39 watt atinics. I thought the new light would be too strong at first so I only ran the mh's 5 hrs a day then I installed my hangers and just kept the new light about 16 inches above the tankand ran the mh's 9 hrs . I lowered it to 9 inches after a week. My frogspawn has not been the same mostly with drawn. Im not sure if its still too much light or that since I put the new light on its never been enough light since I had it up high. any thoughts ?

I would say that right now it is getting too much light and you should move it down. If it were seeking light, it would expand to try and find it. That's my guess . .

That would be my guess also. I have my frogspawns on the bottom with light to medium flow and they do great. Light are 2x250MH on a 75g. Should be about the same depth as yours.

And, they will take some time to adjust to the new light. You might try putting some screen over the tank in layers and remove a layer every few days in order to acclimate the tank to the new lights.
