Goniopora Aficionado
These are most of the Goniopora that I currently have. Several of them are still bleached from when we lost power during a huge ice storm back in January. They're slooowly recovering though.
10 Goniophytes (baby Gonioporas). All are over 1 1/2 years old. 4 or 5 are over 2.
I kept this one in a 29g bb tank for 11 months before moving it into a larger tank.
Red, before it bleached in January.
Bleached purple. It remained completely retracted for 2 months after it bleached. Zooxanthellae is starting to repopulate now.
Interesting brown. It looks like a mound of polyps, but there is a horizontal branch in there.
Branching species. I have a continuing thread about it HERE
Another purple with a bleached purple next to it. It's interesting that one colony bleached while the other didn't. The bleached one was fragged off of the other one over a year ago.
Stokesi Mothership. All of those babies in the first picture developed and dropped off of this one over the last 2 years. It still has 7 or 8 buds on it. When those drop, there's not going to be much left.....
