My Magnificent coral is dieing help!!!

I woke up this morning to find this guy dieing is there anything I can do to save it? I'm doing a water change on my take right now and I took it out and put it in a container with freshly made saltwater



Nitrite .0 ppm
Ph 7.8 :(
Ammonia 0.50 :(
Calcium 450

I wouldn't have moved it into a freshly made salt water, it could cause it more harm than good. what kind of coral is it? kind of hard to tell from the picture, elegant? if it is, they've had a poor track record in the past year or so

actually, the picture of it, the coral doesn't look that bad, the flesh seems still attached, probably just retracted for whatever reason, should leave it in the tank, how are the other corals in your tank, that would be a good indication too
 
I agree about the new salt water. If you haven't already, get an air stone in there. Salt water needs to be aerated in order to get the pH right.
 
your ph is super low. i aim for 8.2-8.4 range. also your ammonia shouldnt be detectable at all in a 4 year old tank. id assume you had somthing die recently to cause the ammonia. what is your alkalinity like? nitrate?phosphate?salinity?temp?etc
