My mantis posing with his live food

I got about 20 of these clear looking (ghost) shrimp from a local pet store, in about 3 days he already ate about 14 of them. It's like the National Geographic channel in my computer room, with a LARGE shrimp running around and trying to eat the smaller ones.

I tried to snap some pics of him chasing the little guys, but the images turned out really crappy.

the ghost shrimp tank at City Pets (Houston, Texas) is saltwater, so i just dropped them into the mantis tank.

I am going to explore around Texas City and Galveston area, hopefully I will find a small crab, or something that will put up a fight with the mantis. I will make a video if I find one.

Cute, my guy really likes those too. I never have my camera when he comes out for some reason. I just throw one in at a time. I get them 12 for a dollar as feeders and keep them in my FW tank.
