my new mantis settled in

My new mantis settled in to he new surroundings, he has been living in the cave i built him , and moving stuff around. I put a small feeder fish in there for him 4 tries and he munched him up!! Looks like he is doing fine. Should i just feed him 1 fish a day?? thanks

I would not use feeder fish to feed him all the time but maybe as a teat(freshwater feeders are not a good thing they are a bunch of fat). Try foods like shrimp, squid, and formula cubes. Thats what I feed mine. I also buy snails and crabs if I want to give him a treat.

i keep my peacock on a pure hermit crabs with some raw shrimp and littlenecks/muscles from the grocery store, ghost shrimp, and feeder fish diet. I sometimes treat her to a nice crab every month (not a hermit crab). She loves that time of the month

Every day is a different food In fact I just ordered 100 hermits online. Splitting 50/50 with a friend that has a peacock aswell.
