my sps devastation - looking for lime acro

Over the last 2 weeks, my sps have been devastated. Trying to figure out what happened. Water parameters are OK (calc a little low, but not bad, and salinity was a little high - I've brought it down) and haven't seen any of the acro predators (acro flatworms, red bugs etc ..)

I've lost 2/3 of my acros including my larger colonies. The tissue just flakes off - Definitely looks like RTN. I'm hoping that the remaining will recover / be OK. I've seen better polyp extension on those or at least they haven't degraded.

One of my acros was a lime acro I got from Jeff Leach (jgleach). He no longer has it, but when my tank "normalizes" again, I'd like to get another frag of it.

If you have the lime acro and can get me a frag in the future, send me a PM.

Do you have any pics of it? Does he? I got a bunch of acro. Lots of lime colored ones.

Funny you should ask.......it was not REALLY lime green....more of a sea green...LOL. It was VERY HAIRY.

I'm pretty sure this was the one John was referring to....I think I took about 10 frags from it total. Most, however, were shipped out of the area. I know there were a few in the area, but I don't remember who got them and my pm list has been cleaned several times since then.

That looks like it! I had it up high under VHO and it was a bright yellow-lime green in color!

Maybe it was this one then.....although the pic shows bluer, it was more green/yellow.....and still very hairy.

I have one antifreeze green Acro Chesterfieldensis.

This one taken under VHO.......the picture still kinda crapy.
Man if U see this one in person, it glows in the dark.

John-The first picture looks like a horrida. I have a light green/blue tip horrida that you would be welcome to. I also have a darker green horrida with yellow tips. Sorry to hear about your tank. When you stabilize, let me know, and you are welcome to anything I've got to reseed you system. Good Luck.

Come on down! You guys are the next contestants on "Is That Acro Right?!" I don't mind visitors. That's why I'm on RC. I enjoy meeting new people. Just as long as they aren't looking for fights like I've noticed on some of the threads.
