Explosive tank...any reason why you dont use GFO.Are you maintaing po4 with Vinegar dose.

Vinegar alone keeps po4 at 0. Do I don't use gfo any more. Get a 1 gallon bill tale of vinegar for a few dollars and I am set for a year

How did you get rid of the cyano on your sand bed?

Cyano loves it when KH below 8.3 or below 8. Once I raised the KH to above 8.6, Cyano went away.

Yes I vacuum the sand bed once a month during the water change.
