My tank when I got it versus today.

Hi *waves*. I'm pretty new and I'm just shooting with a little point and shoot digital Sony, but I thought I would share some of my tank pics.

This is moving day in February. I got a 7 year old tank that had been neglected for 2 years by it's owners. They used to have it professionally services and then just stopped one day. Everything that wasn't bomb-proof died.

This is what greeted me the next morning.

And this is what it looks like today. Quite a nice turnaround, live rock has rebounded, coraline algae is starting to grow, everything is fat and happy. The only full tank shot that I have is with me standing in front of the tank.

Thanks for looking!

Thank you.
I'm a little shy about posting pictures because everyone else's pics are so awesome. My SLR is a 35MM and so what I take to post on the internet are done with my little point and shoot digital.

No need to be shy- that Mandarin shot is great! I know everyone wants the greatest camera in the world but even if we could all afford it... would we really want to spend that kind of money on a camera? Well, I would but I'm not normal :p
Plus it's not always necessary to have an expensive dslr to get good pics- as your Mandarin shows.
