Anyone know the status of the new Naperville Pet Land. I know that the old one closed and there is new ownership. Just wondering if anyone knows when they are planning to open back up.

I cant wait to see it, I know the petland up by Schaumburg is called great adventure petland but they are to over priced for me.

"We are looking at a grand opening of January 13th."

Not sure if that date is still solid, if anyone hears anything share with us all

I talked with Adam last night and got a sneak peak of their progress. He confirmed that the grand opening is scheduled for Jan 13th.

I think it is, I sent a PM to Adam last week and he confirmed it. Plus there are signs on the windows that have January 13th printed on it.

Yes, it's in the strip mall sandwiched between Office Depot and Bed, Bath and Beyond. They share the lot with Walmart/Sams Club among others.

There is a tear in the paper on one of the signs covering the windows, I restrained myself from parking and peeking... mainly because my wife was in the car and I like to pretend I have control over my addictio... my hobby.

Most days I drive by the front door has been propped open...I'm sure you could just waltz in and look.

The store was looking pretty good a few weeks ago. A lot more open and spacious than before. The fish section did get downsized with space, however, that doesn't mean that they are not going to have good stuff. I'm pretty sure they will have a good staff and if there is stuff that you are looking for I'm sure you will have a good chance of getting it. We'll have to see how it turns out. Definitely support these guys and I'm sure they will return the favor.

A reef scene are you helping out with the stocking?

I passed by today (Wed), had a quick word w/ an employee out on a break and he said they already have a nice saltwater selection and are expecting more. And all is ready for Sat. FYI
