Was woundering if anyone tried using vitamins from vitamin stores in replacement of Zoe and Selcon. I asked around and talked to Peter Eichler who gave me some excellent info.

You should be able to find 6oz. bottles for a little more than $5. When I had my fish food company I did an enormous amount of research and experimenting and I had a lot of luck with reversing HLLE and improving health in fish in my many tanks as well as the fish at local fish stores. Also had a lot of luck with finicky and difficult to keep fish, but that probably had more to do with the freshness of the food and the seafood that went into it. GNC would be a good place to look, even if it's for adults as long as it doesn't have a flavoring or some other advertised additive besides vitamins it should be fine. Whole foods would be another good place to look, and they have a powdered form of vitamin C and Seagreen capsules which is a powdered vitamin derived from kelp. Both will be quite safe.

Here's a multi vitamin that I came across that looks interesting. It also has amino and fatty acids.

This multi vitamin is like what I'm talking about and probably would be a good choice.

This one looks really interesting as well...

Hope this helps and if you have any other questions give me a shout back.
