Joe

Joe;

Not yet. But that will be one of the first things to do as soon as some of the BOD get back from trips.

sanjay.

We should have the frag at least two weeks apart from New Jersey Reefers Club, this way those who want to participate in both have a little breathing room between the swaps...

they are having theirs on:
New Jersey Reefers Club Presents...
The 2008 Fall Frag Swap & Symposium
Saturday October 25, 2008
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

good point.we always check all local(within a couple hundred miles) clubs swaps and try to schedule ours at a time that does not conflict with them.we will try to get the date and venue posted soon so the other clubs that are planning events will have ample time to work around our swap.we will definately not schedule ours too close to NJRC swap if at all posible.

Definitely, glad to know they have their date already, thanks knockout.

Hopefully we'll send an email to all the members about this soon. But since it was brought up here, we can use this forum to get suggestions for a place. Since the spring swap was at PSU, at the west end of NCPARS territory, we'd probably like to go either east, southeast, or northeast. Most importantly, we'd like to find a local volunteer who can help suggest an appropriate spot. In the past, we've held swaps at fire halls, restaurants, and schools (like PSU). They just have to be OK with people bringing in gallons and gallons of saltwater!

If anyone has suggestions, or if anyone is interested in volunteering to be the local host, please post here, or send a message!

scott i was thinking the allentown area.possibly near something fishy.there is a place that todd uses that may be available to rent and it is just around the corner from something fishy .i can check into it if it sounds ok to you guys.

Sounds like our first volunteer! Sure, check it out, we'll see if we get lots of offers from others who'd like to help be local host, and then we can pick.
