I purchased a T5 retro kit from Reefgeek that came with a Icecap 430 ballast. The power cord just has the wires on the one end striped like you would have if you were connecting it using wire nuts or the like. The ballast has a 4 wire plastic socket/plug where the power goes in. Did Reefgeek forget to include an end to use on the end of the cord to plug it into the ballast? I have posted in the other forums and tried calling Reefgeek for help but cant get an answer (Reefgeek is closed). I wanted to get my lights up and running tonight but it looks like that is not going to happen.
Very confused!!:(

Youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re talking about the wiring harness, caps or an all in one kit? Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m not familiar with reefgeekââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s product line, however that is typical of third party kits. To save money they will make or modify existing products. I would check all the wiring just in case then wrap it in electrical flex tubing (like they have at autozone) and then clamp it in with wire clips (like from Home Depot or Lowes)..

I got a ballast like that. As has been said, that's fairly normal. I bought some wire nuts and a power cord and used wire nuts to connect it all.
