Found several of these "balls" attached to the rocks last night, never seen anything like it. Any ID help would be appreciated. Also info as to threat or friend, thanks. Sorry for blurry photo but could not focus with lens this close. They appear purple with orange spots all over them, kinda see thru and stiff but not hard shelled..help photo.jpg Animals in tank for reference, @ blueline cardinals, one blue jaw spot goby, one rainsford goby, pair percula clowns, acro's, euphyllias, one BTA, one rock flower nem, two peppermint shrimp, one emerald crab, feather worms and standard CUC.

Thanks for the ID, have removed all rock from aquarium and removed all I could find. Seems this is my reward for lowering nutrients to rid tank of green bubble algae, grrrr! I hope I got it early enough.
