I was looking at my tank and noticed the one of my snails looked like it was splitting into two. Upon further inspection it had a black creature attached and trying to clean the glass just like the snail. Does anyone know what this is?
Hard to tell from the pic, but I THINK it might be the proboscis of a Hipponix or capulid snail that is attached to your Astraea, attempting to scavenge a meal. Is there a limpet-looking thing attached to it?
