Noticed this today. Not sure what it is. I know it's not snail eggs. I have those on my glass. Any ideas? Thanks.

What do you have in your tank? That's a start toward ID. They don't look like snail eggs. Crabs hatch their own. Clowns are usually more discreet...what else have you got?
I have a 1 Flame Angle, 3 Green Cromis, 1 Clown Wrasse, 1 Blue goby firefish, 1 Randall goby, 1 Desjardini tang, 1 Linka star fish, 1 peppermint shrimp, and 1 royal gramma.
They aren't fish eggs. From the picture I can see a large mucous barrier and also that the eggs appear to be laid in string fashion (widely spaced clusters). That's typical of an invertebrate not a fish. More likely they are the result of a snail or nudibranch that has remained cryptic and unseen. Unfortunately without catching the parent in the act there is no way to tell what they are as the larvae will be completely different looking than the adult (and be very very small!) and will not likely survive the first few days after hatching.
