it has been losing its color for about two weeks if you click on image it will get bigger

It almost looks like you have hydroids on the coral? I can't tell well enough from the photo (or my eyes are going bad!) I've seen an acropora covered with hydroids once before...it didn't survive long. I'm not sure how you'd treat for that (if that is actually what it is) other than fragging a healthy piece off. Can you describe the pest a little for us?
