Need help with a sump and wet dry filter

What size wet dry will I need for a 55G tank. My tank is reef ready. Also it has the plumbing kit. Do i need any extra hoses. Also People told me you could make them. Are they hard to make. LFS stor said get a 10G tank. a return pump ect. What size return pump would I nned. I was thinking of buying one new with the bio balls. And then taking the balls out. I know there around 225-250 for one. PLease help

I would try a 15 or mabe a 20 gallon. Just section ot off with some acrylic. Add some chaeto woth a DSB. For a pump a Mag 5 sound about right. Check out WWW.melevsreef.com Many, many good sump ideas there.

If it were me I would not even bother with the wet/ dry or Bio balls.
