Need help with I.D. please

Hi, Im a reef/coral newbie with a question. A year ago I set up a 29gal fowlr tank with 20 lbs of live rock and about 10 of base rock.The live rock wasn't that lively and didn't have much on it other than a few spots of corraline .But now ,a year later ,I find this blueish green thing about the size and shape of a gumball growing on the rock .I've been searching around trying to figure out what it is. Anyone have any idea what it could be. Thanks for the help .

Interesting, it looks like spit lol...on a serouse note, it could be an egg sack maybe?

snail egg sack or sponge, I have a type of orange sponge with electric white stripes. Shines like glass, really nice though.

I can't see very much, but it might also be a bubble alga.

I'm transfering this rock into a 72 gal which has cycled and don't want to put a pest in the new setup if I can avoid it.I'll try and get a better pic of it tonight .
