need rock

Im new to reef central and I am trying to set up a new tank but need cheap live rock. 6 buck a pound a stores is a little steap for me. need around 150-175.

You might want to think about a combination of live rock and base rock from hirocks.com It will be live w/in a year and you won't be able to tell the difference. I think someone on here might also make baserock from oystershells and portlad cement just make sure it has cured for a long time first.

I just saw some nice fiji (I think that's what it was) at Gateway and I think he said 4 a lb but don't quote me. Some awesome Kaleni(sp?) but that was 6.

I got 50 to 60 lbs for 3 a lb cured 25 of that branchy looking stuff and the rest reguler liverock
