I need to change or add equipment so I can easily add media to my new JBJ 29 setup. My setup has completed cycling and I am working on keeping some parameters constant.
jbj 28g LED
tunze 9002 skimmer in center
2 tunze nanostream 6025 on wave timer
50lbs Bali Alor LR
40 lbs LS (3")
Profilux computer
Profilux dosing pump (to be used for balling light) *no dosing active at moment
my water temp is higher than I like... its consistent day/night but on the high side... the 2 6025s raised temp to 85F so I turned them off for now since I have no corals yet. Water temp is still on high side but at 83F
I think I need to add a chiller.. I was thinking of removing one of the side pumps and use JBJ chiller install kit (eliminating the power head) and
adding a Fluval 305 canister to feed a AquaEuroUSA Mighty Pro 1/13 HP Aquarium Chiller For Tanks Up To 60 Gallons AquaEuroUSA Pro 1/13 HP Chiller.
This canister will allow easy media addition and maintanance.
Do you guys see a better or another way ?
Still not sure what media other than carbon to put in canister.
My goal is for all SPS corals in this tank..
