Weight is not that bad. 6 people was to many, but needed in case any one gets tired or loosing grip. We had 2 on each end and 1 extra guy on each end just in case. the 5th person came in handy lifting the tank up on the stand. I built it 39" tall.

You'll find out when I order mine.

Mark.. Do you have easy access to the basement? For the Stairs Glasscages said to just slide it down. That is what I did. Had it from the truck to the stand in about 5 min, if that.
