New 6201 impeller question

I just ordered a replacement impeller for my wavebox and I don't know how I need to insert it into the pump.

What are the other pieces (o-ring and other object) for?

I inserted just the impeller part inot the pump and it would work for a short time but then the alarm would start to sound.

Please help. My SPS coral need your help!!!!

Steve, the bushing will go to the back of the pump along with the Oring... Look into your user manual and it will show you how to remove the bushing and oring.

The old bushing was buried under calcium deposits and I had to pry it out.

Working like a charn now with the new impeller setup.

No problem Steve. Make sure when you are due for cleaning pay special attention to the bushing. It could get very tricky when calcium start to build up back there. Good luck and enjoy..

The two best ways to remove the upper bearing are a pick tool or a #12 sheet metal screw, I use 3" long stainless steel. You just have to be careful to not screw it in past the bearing and into the motor.
