Ok since this is my first clam I just want to make sure that I'm doing thing correct. I picked up a 3-3.5" T. Crocea from John's last Friday. I've read that Crocea's are rock dwelling, so I put him in a nice nesseled place in the rock work. He's getting low to moderate flow and is putting out it's mantel and looking good (from my perspective). One thing that worries me is there seems to be a couple faded area's on the mantel like some of the tissue was rubbed, is this Ok will it return. It might just be some golden coloration in the manted and not any damage, it's hard to tell.
The other thing is that in the spot it's in, it can't open up much more than it is in the pics, I can try to cut out some of the rock to allow it open more if it wanted. and just FYI it has put out and attached it's foot...should I, or is it Ok the way it is....and now for the pics...
From the front of the glass..
Fromt top looking down...
Thanks in advance for the info...
