New clam tank update

Sorry I have not posted more pics but I have been working and going to school and it is hard to find time to post pics.

I now have 17 clams in my tank.

1 Hippopus
2 Deresas
2 Squamosa
4 Croceas
8 Maximas


I do have some byopssis problems but other than that the tank is going really well

those clams are really cool. how big is the tank? i intend on setting up a tank just for my clams in the future. i have 21 clams in my55 gallon reef and i already want more so i need to set up another tank. i really like yours.

The tank is about 80 gallons. It was a custom tank I got used. it is 48x24x12

Hey Alex,
What do you feed all those beauties?
Do you culture your own phyto?

Right now i am feeding tons of Dt's. The babies are feed 3 times a week in the phyto bath. I am trying a bottle of Bioplankton right now to see if I see the same results that I see with Dt's. I plan to culture pyto in the future. I tried it once but I did not sterilize the bottles I was culturing enough so I had mixed results with the cultures.

I will try to take some overhead shots so you can actually see the colors of the clams.
