I just added a 6200 and a multicontroller to my tank. I connected the multicontroller to the driver via channel 1 and some functions work and others do not. I would like the pump to pulse between 30 and 80 percent. I set the controller to pulse and i adjusted the dials for 30 and 80. I set the pulse speed low, and I can see the lights on the controller going back and forth between 30 and 80. The problem is that the stream never changes power. It runs at full blast all the time. This led me to believe that the controller was not working. The next thing I did was to set the multicontroller on interval 1 with the same speed setting. In this mode the stream will turn on when it is time for channel 1 to be on, and it will turn off when channel 2 is active.
So it seems that the controller is properly hooked up, because channel 1 is controlled in interval mode. The problem seems to only affect the controller's ability to change the power at which the stream runs.
Is there anything I have overlooked when setting this system up? Do I need to return the multicontroller, or is it possible something is wrong with the driver?
Thanks in advance,
Brad
