New Crocea Clam

LFS had 2 of these in his tank. They had been in there for a week under poor lighting.

One was already dead and this one was laying on it's side under an anemone.

I had the owner place him upright so I could get a good look at him. He opened and closed real good and look good but I was unsure since the other had died.

So he let me bring him home to see if he responds well in my tank. I have him under a 250mh and placed on the bottom for now.

He is in a 58g Octogon which is 2 feet tall. He seems to be doing great so far and looks to be filtering very good.

I just dosed the tank with DT's.

If he survives, then I will go pay the owner 32 bucks for him.

He is much more electric blue in person than the pic as usual.

Feed him some phytoplankton. Good luck.

I add DT's Phyto to the tank.

Should I direct feed him with a turkey baster?

Place him in a bowl w/ some tank water and add about half a capful of DT's, leave him in there for about 20min to an hr...water should clear up, do it about 3 times a week until you think he is ok.
