I posted this message in the reef forum but it didn't get any response. I picked this T. crocea up yesterday at a lfs. It's under 2x250watt hqi (the bulbs are ready for a switch - they're about 1 yr old). Compared to my maxima clams, the crocea's mantle seems to be stretching toward the light. I feed DT's Phytoplankton several times per week. Do croceas tend to have more extended mantles than maximas or is my clam hungry for more light?
