New Derasa placement - perpendicular

Hello:

I bought a derasa approx. 4", does it matter how I place the clam on the sandbed?, should the hole be towards the front of tank or back of tank, right now I have it straight on the sandbed with the siphon tube facing the front glass and the hole towards the back.

Is this Ok?

gin, I put mine on sand, it moves itself.

I don't think it makes much difference, as long as it gets sufficient light, and not too much water flow.
