Hello,
I've read about LPS and own some trumpet\frogspawns but was very lucky last night to snag a beautiful red and green piece of echinophyllia (can you say christmas present?!) and a vibrant orange plate coral.
I was wondering if you have any advice for someone new to keeping these corals and would be very greatful for any tips you would have!
As it stands now my plate is on the sandbed and gobbled up some mysis through its conveyor belt-like tentacles. The chalice is about the size of a small brownie (and shape.. hence we call it brownie lol .. looks like it has red sprinkles) .. and right now i have it about midway up in my aquapod 12g but in a week or two when my 55g with T5 lighting is done cycling I will acclimate it into the newer better tank.. I just couldn't resist getting them last night it was part of a new store opening
Thanks again in advance for any tips you may have
I will post some pics to share as soon as I get some!
